We are pleased to offer our clientele direct billing for dietitian services to select insurance companies.

 

After booking your appointment, you will receive an intake form where you can provide your insurance details for a seamless experience.

Can I share my blood work and other medical tests with your team?

 

Yes, it is possible to share results with private practice allied health professionals if you use LifeLabs.  They offer a patient portal called MyCareCompass where you can view and share your lab results with authorized individuals, including your allied health practitioners.  This allows for better collaboration and communication regarding your care.

How to share results:

  1. Create a MyCareCompass Account: If you don't already have one, create an account at MyCareCompass.

  2. Log in to MyCareCompass: Access your MyCareCompass account.

  3. Share Results: You can then share your lab results with authorized individuals, including your private practice allied health professionals.  MyCareCompass allows you to share reports with specific individuals by inviting them to access your account and view your reports. Type "sandra@nutritionbites.ca" in the prompted email to share with our clinic account.

 

OR

 

Alternative sharing methods: You can also upload reports from labs or practice portals to your secure account with us as a PDF through the chat function or our shared Document Folder in your Electronic Medical Record with our clinic.

The following insurance companies do not allow direct billing for dietitian services:

Empire Life, Group Health, Group Source, Manion, Pacific Blue Cross, and Sunlife.

For these insurance providers you will be provided with a payment receipt to submit for reimbursement.
